Sumatra Tiger: The Great Species from Indonesia

Do you know about Sumatra Tiger? For the people who care to the animal, they certainly know about this name. Sumatra Tiger is a kind of tiger which becomes so rare nowadays. According to the information, this kind of tiger just has a few populations in its habitat, Kalimantan or Sumatra Jungle. This tiger is actually special because this Sumatra tiger just exists in those two places, Kalimantan and Sumatra. You will not find them in other areas. Besides that, the pattern of its skin is different to another kind of tiger such as Benggala. It has unique pattern with black and dark yellow inside it. Many researchers want to know this tiger directly in the jungle. But, they don’t get anything in the day. It is what is called as the habit of the tiger, Sumatra tiger just comes out in the night, when the dark comes.

Like another big cat, Sumatra tiger also hunts other animals for its meals. It can also hunt the animal which may be bigger than its body. Sumatra tiger also can run so fast when it chases its foods. After they get the foods, they will use their sharp teeth to tear up the body of their foods.

Unfortunately, because of the careless hunting which is done by human, this species becomes so rare now. If you are lucky, you may be able to find it in deep jungle of Kalimantan or Sumatra. But, if you have bad luck, you may find its skins in your friend’s bags or jackets. That is the fact, bad fact. Many people had hunted it just for the skins and its head (for furniture on the wall in house.) now, the population of this tiger becomes fewer and fewer. If we can’t stop hunting it, it will make this original species from Indonesia becomes extinct. And one more, the heritage of the world will be gone.   

There is No Animals in Saving Private Ryan Films, Lucky!

            I am actually inspired from the film named Saving Private Ryan. Especially, when we talk about the war, that film will be appropriate. In this phase, I will not talk about the war and the human inside it. I will talk about the role of the animal in case of helping the human in the war. There are many reports which mention that animals have a big role in the war. Like the Germany, they used dogs (if I am not mistaken) for facing the heavy tank and many others. Those dogs had bombs in their body. So, when they passed under or in the front of the tank, BOOOM! The tank was defeated. That strategy is surely effective if we don’t think about the dogs. What does it mean?

            If we can see the condition like in Saving Private Ryan, we can see that there will be no humanity there. Many people can be died as easy as they shoot the gun. That is war. So, now, imagine that in the condition like that, will it be an  “animal”ity? I use that word even there isn’t actually word like that. The life of human becomes so cheap there moreover the life of an animal. Sometimes, the people at that time thought that the animal is useless except to help the human fully. So, if the animals can help the human it means that those animals are useless.

            For the conclusion, it is better to think again about the role of animals in many places, not just in a war. Sometimes, the people don’t realize that animals can also feel uncomfortable or feel pain. They just use the animals for a tool to get what they want. So, please think again about treating your animals well. Fortunately, there is no animal at all in Saving Private Ryan film, so we don’t need to close our eyes when the dogs or the others are blown up.
